License and renewal

Each license is assigned to one named user. You may install and use DocInsight on multiple machines, as long as you are the only person using the license.

Subscriptions renew manually by default. During an active subscription, you receive updates and priority support, plus a perpetual fallback license for versions released during your subscription term.

Volume discounts

Volume discounts are applied automatically at checkout for two or more users. They apply to both new subscriptions and yearly renewals.

Renewing after expiration

Reactivate your subscription with a new term starting on the purchase date.

  • 1-year plan: $149 for the first year, then $99 per year.
  • 2-year plan: $229 for the first 2-year term, then $179 every 2 years.

Can I continue using DocInsight after my subscription expires?

Yes. You can keep using any DocInsight version released during your active subscription term indefinitely. Renew or reactivate your subscription to receive new versions, updates, and technical support.

Do you offer discounts for students or academic institutions?

Yes. Contact us with a valid academic email address or institution details to request educational pricing.

What payment methods are supported?

Payments are processed securely through FastSpring. Available payment methods are shown at checkout and vary by location.

What happened to the Personal and Commercial licenses?

New purchases use a single DocInsight subscription plan. Existing Personal and Commercial subscriptions are still honored.

You can renew at your existing rate before expiration or within 6 months afterward. After that, the reactivation terms in Renewing after expiration apply.
